The Cue Details Window

The Details Tab

Here you can keep track of the meat-and-potatoes details of a cue. Most of these details are primarily useful for generating cue sheets (one of the templates available when you print reports), but come in handy for reference as well.

Usage is the cue type that would be logged on a cue sheet, such as underscore, end credits, non-visual source, etc. You can select a common value from the drop-down list, or type a custom value. Note, if you choose a custom value, that it should start with a two-letter abbreviation; only the first two letters will appear in the rows of the cue sheet.

The start and end times are also listed under this tab for easier access -- you can set and change them under the Spotting tab, under the Details tab, or directly in the Document window.

You can also assign each cue to an orchestra (once the orchestras are defined), a version of picture, an orchestrator, and any number of composers and publishers. (When you create a new underscore cue, the first composer, first publisher, and orchestrator will default to the settings under the Project tab of the Project Inspector.) If there is more than one composer and/or more than one publisher, the writer's and publisher's shares can be split using the "%" fields next to each. If you change the percent of an existing composer or publisher, the next one you add will automatically balance to add up to 100%.

There is also a button under this tab labeled "Remove preview". Clicking here will remove the audio preview from the currently selected cue.
