Printing Reports

Preset Templates

Cue Tracker features the ability to generate highly customizable reports. When you select File->Print, a window will appear asking you to specify the type of report you would like to print. You can select any of the preset templates (Spotting Notes, Cue Status Report, Take Log, Mix Log, Cue Sheet), or select your own.

Simply hit "OK" to output the report to your printer (or select a PDF option from the following Print dialog). Alternatively, you can check the "Save as HTML/RTF" checkbox and hit "OK"; this will generate the report directly to an HTML (if you provide a filename ending in .html or .htm) or RTF (if the filename ends in .rtf) file. Note: RTF export uses Mac OS X's built-in, extended RTF engine, which is not compatible with all word processors. It is best to test a file with your word processor before using RTF export for any mission-critical functions.

User-defined Templates

Reports are fully scriptable, using CRML (Cue Report Markup Language), a specially-extended type of HTML file. The scripting possibilities are vast; please refer to cuetracker.com for potential options.
